The 2020 Zhejiang Export Commodity Online Fair (Pharma Sector) is coming back with a new session- the portals for the “Pakistan- API Session” is now launched to create a specific online platform for pharmaceutical suppliers in Zhejiang Province of China as well as Pakistani buyers to precisely target quality business partners.
Jointly held by Zhejiang Department of Commerce and PharmaSources.com, the 2020 Zhejiang Export Commodity Online Fair “Pakistan- API Session” is to facilitate ongoing and new business connections between Zhejiang and Pakistani pharma practitioners, filling the production gaps at this challenging time.
At the online opening ceremony on July 22nd, leaders and representatives from Zhejiang Department of Commerce, Pakistan Pharmaceutical Association (PPMA), Consulate General of Pakistan in Shanghai, Informa Groups and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition, respectively located in Zhejiang province, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Pakistan, have joined hands online and given the welcoming speeches to witness the wonderful moment for the closer partnership built in the pharma industry between China and Pakistan.
Being the world’s 6th largest country, Pakistan is a big and growing market. More than 700 pharmaceutical manufacturing companies contributes an approximately USD 3 billion (over 460 billion Pakistani Ruppes) to the Pakistani market. Pakistan’s pharmaceutical market and industry offers an immense potential for both foreign trade and investment China is an important trading partner of Pakistan in pharmaceuticals, with most Chinese suppliers exporting their APIs and intermediates to Pakistani companies.
From May 18th to June 12th, the 10 sessions of 2020 Zhejiang Export Commodity Online Fair, focused on quality APIs, intermediates, pharma machinery and fine chemicals products provided by over 80 Zhejiang pharmaceutical suppliers each, have attracted more than 200 buyers to submit sourcing requests and enjoy matchmaking services under the help of professional customer service of PharmaSources.com. Meanwhile, the participants have successfully got connected with buyers or suppliers through the online matchmaking system – China Pharma Connect. Each supplier or buyer has 20 chances to send invitations to the potential business partners after browsing and searching the products. Even more, there are pharmaceutical companies who have been meeting “screen to screen” and negotiating with their potential partners via cloud meeting arranged by the organizer.
